Setup Info

Our Dial-Up phone number for both analog modems (56k) and ISDN is (707) 636-2435 (or #2435 if you have an am.net Centrex ISDN line)

The DNS (Domain Name) Servers are 206.176.224.66 for primary and 206.176.224.67 for secondary.

The mail server is am.net for both send (SMTP) and recieve (POP3).  Please note that your POP3 login and password can be different from the Dial-Up settings.

It is very important that you configure your e-mail program to store messages (and not just headers) locally and not on our server.  Our server cannot keep your messages for a long period of time after they have been read

The newsgroup server is news.am.net

  
If you don't have a dedicated server process, FTP access to your web site is through ftp://am.net/ <your site directory>
